“ What an amazing find in a shopping center that you would think is only for offices. This bakery is something that you would find in France. Everything is handmade from their breads to their pastries to their breakfast. If you're in bee Cave, you should hunt this place down and try their menu. They only have a short day and it ends at three so try to get there early. Their croissant sandwiches with bacon, egg, and cheese are divine as are their pastries and their desserts. If you're looking for macaroons, you've come to the right place. We give this bakery five stars. ”

“ I've never had anything bad from here. It's all good... It's all TOO good. Staff is always super friendly and they are starting to recognize me so I think I need to buy disguises for when I go back twice in the same day.. the Napoleon is .... Insane. Just buy one. If you regret it then idk see a doctor because it's a slice of heaven and you're wrong if you disagree. Pretty small and always people inside, little area outside as well as curbside pickup spots. ”

“ Stopped by this bakery today for a quick snack and coffee. The place is in a sort of strip mall, but inside it's cute with a few small tables. Would be a decent place to work, and fairly quiet. Service is quick and very friendly. I got a chocolate croissant to go. It was good but a little less crisp than I'd like. I brought it home and heated it a bit with a toaster oven and it was perfect! The latte I got was also pretty good. I'd need to go back to try the food, which looks promising and also not too pricey. Definitely could use more bakery/cafes in the area! This one's pretty good - try it out if you're in Bee Cave! ”

“ I stopped by recently, and it's safe to say it's a hidden gem! It was Sunday around 10:30 and there were still plenty of pastries and baked goods in the cases, but around 10:45 a huge group came in. They have plenty of parking and seating outside (although tables and chairs are on the sidewalk, you are close to cars. They serve brunch type items which were delicious. The quiche was perfectly baked, with a buttery, flaky crust and served with a salad. The croissants sandwiches were equally great--light, but filling with cheese and meat. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a spot with great pastries, a warm vibe, and no parking headaches, this is the place to go! Will definitely be back. ”

“ September 2024 Love this place. It reminds me of Bread Furst in Washington, DC. Can't wait to go back. Indoor seating is limited and quickly fills up. But there is plentiful outdoor seating. The place was packed by 9am with more folks walking in as I was walking out. Everything is packaged to-go. Staff was friendly and helpful of first-timers. There is one menu close to the counter. But it can be difficult to see given the way the entrance and queue is structured. So I recommend looking at the menu online beforehand to get an idea of what you'll want to order. Chausson au pomme: Light, flaky, and delicate pastry. Well-filled with apple goo. Texture is reminiscent of applesauce. But the flavor is delicate, showcasing natural apple flavor. No cinnamon, so unlike an apple pie/tunover. I could eat a whole tray of these. Definitely recommend. 10/10 Raspberry Tart: Interior custard is a bit grainy but has nice notes of vanilla on the nose. Crust is nice - delicate and crumbly with a hint of sweetness. Raspberries are coated with a mildly sweet syrup. Altogether, the raspberries provide a pop of contrast against a soothing background of vanilla. Reminiscent of raspberry cheesecake. It's good, just not something that I personally would crave or seek out. Worth a try though. 7/10 Peach Tart: Wasn't a very good peach - bland. Custard is grainy and underwhelming. Peach "jelly" had some nice flavor. Puff pastry was flaky and delicate. I'm confused by the coconut - not sure it really adds anything. Overall, this would probably be great if it had "peachier" peaches and better custard. Until then, I'd skip this one. 5/10 Parisien Brie Hot Panino: Awesome panini. It's about a foot long and is packed with Brie. The ham shines through as a savory compliment to the Brie. The tomatoe adds much needed acidity and brightness to balance out the heaviness of the meat and cheese. In fact, I'd probably ask for extra tomatoes for next time. The bread is amazing - a n intoxicatingly crunchy exterior and a chewy inside. Great dish. Definitely recommend. 8/10 ”

“ Qui, qui, et qui! Yes! Although a bit of a drive outside of Austin, absolutely worth it. Femme, the owner from France, knows what she's doing. Our intention was to get a simple traditional Parisian baguette sandwich, and we walked out with that in addition to cafe and lattes, as well as baked goodies like peach tart (amazing). It's worth asking the staff about their favorite choices, the one choice we made on our own (pan au chocolate - chocolate croissant) was actually our least favorite because the others were just SO good. ”

The service is great and everything is delicious. Seating can get tricky since there's not much seating indoors but they do have some outdoor seating. ”

“ I recently realized, with shame, that I still haven't written a review for one of my favorite businesses in the area: Baguette et Chocolat. This hidden gem of a bakery is deeply loved by the locals (as evidenced by the constant flow of cars, shelves full of order pick-ups, and often emptied out display cases) & you gotta try them out! If you're not sure what to get, the banh mi SLAPS. My husband and I order it for a quick treat yoself lunch twice a month and I look forward to it every time. The bread is perfectly crusty yet chewy, and packed with fresh ingredients and flavors all tied together with delicious pate. For something sweet, we've never gone wrong with their cakes and pastries. The cinnamon roll is somewhat of a croissant hybrid and the texture is *chef's kiss* It's definitely not the kind of bakery/cafe for remote work, given the small space and limited seating. The website is slightly clunky but def recommend ordering online to save yourself a wait in case the place is packed... and to secure your favorite item before it sells out. Bon appetit! ”
